About our Local Committee
Stuart Crane - Chair of the Local Committee
I have been a member of the Local Committee at Perry Hall since May 2014 and Chair since the beginning of the 2021 academic year. I have two teenage daughters, both who attended Perry Hall and loved their time there!
I work as a Senior Account Manager for a hire company that supplies technical equipment and personnel to the live events and broadcast sectors.
Managing a wide portfolio of clients, my job entails a great deal of day to day planning and logistics plus strategising for future growth and development”
I am delighted to serve on the Local Committee and play my part in ensuring Perry Hall stays an "outstanding" school that offers the pupils every opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, happy environment
Neeley Taylor - Vice Chair of Local Committee
November 2019 marked the beginning of my journey as a Parent Member of the Local Committee having been elected by the school community.
I am proud to be able to support pupils, staff, parents and the local area especially through encouraging positive mental health, emotional wellbeing and enhancing opportunities available to everyone.
This passion has led to our creation of the school's edible garden, nature and wellbeing area as well as the school animals, all part of enriching the school environment.
In my professional life I spent the past 20 years working in financial services in the City focusing on global regulations. A role which involved finding clarity and providing clear direction in often complex situations to a varied audience”
Now, a career changer, currently retraining with the RHS, School Mental Health Charities and outdoor learning, I look forward to being part of a passionate dedicated team helping forge a school environment where every individual is noticed, feels valued and can be the best version of themselves.
Lorraine Richards - Executive Head Teacher (ex officio)
Born in Southwark, Lorraine studied psychology at university before training as a teacher at the University of London’s Institute of Education.
Having taught for over 25 years at schools across South-East London, Lorraine held the post of Assistant Head Teacher at Crofton Junior School before taking up the post of Deputy Head Teacher at Perry Hall Primary School in 2013. Lorraine was appointed Head Teacher at Perry Hall Primary School in 2017.
Alongside her role as Executive Head Teacher, Lorraine is also Education Lead for the Nexus Education Schools Trust where she oversees assessment and moderation for the trust’s nineteen schools. She is also Co-Chair of the Bromley Primary and Special School’s Head Teacher’s Forum. Passionate about arts education, Lorraine is a trustee for the Bromley Youth Music Trust and sits on the Bromley Music Education Hub Advisory Board.
Caroline Mace - Parent Member of Local Committee
I was appointed as a Parent Member of the Local Committee at Perry Hall Primary School in November 2019.
Both of my children have attended Perry Hall and as a family we have embraced the school community. Over the last 5 years I have enjoyed volunteering to help at school in many aspects such as sport, music, reading, art, the Go Green Club and Eco-Committee. I was also part of the PTA for several years, including two years as Chair. I am proud to have been part of the PTA’s fundraising achievements and have enjoyed seeing the results of this benefit the facilities at school and in turn the education of the children.
My professional career was in the creative industry, where I worked in a team that researched, analysed, and communicated trend information to inform product developers and buyers. The fast-paced industry was exciting, but I made the decision when I had my first child to be a stay at home parent, at least for the time being.
I am passionate about maintaining high standards of education for all. I want to ensure that the school continues to nurture kind, inquisitive children with opportunities to flourish and enjoy an enriched curriculum, thanks to dedicated staff. I am honoured to have the opportunity to be part of the Local Committee and to play a part in helping this happen
Carol Rugg - Community Member of Local Committee
I am pleased to have been a Community member of the Perry Hall Local Committee for just over three years having had no previous experience of the English education system.
In my professional life I lead a team that supports the financial markets and treasury businesses of a major UK bank - a business I have been involved with for 42 years through its various incarnations. It is a very dynamic, fast paced environment facing into the political, economic, social and technology challenges that all enterprises, private and public face. My role is multi-faceted from operational to strategy.
Since being involved with Perry Hall, I have been consistently impressed by the commitment and passion of everyone involved with the school and governance framework. I look forward to contributing to its continued development
Oluwatomilola Adefioye - Community Member of Local Committee
I was delighted to join the Local Committee at Perry Hall Primary School as a Community Member in March 2022.
I work as an Academic Support Lecturer/ Associate Lecturer in further and higher education (Art & Design). I am also a graphic designer interested in facilitation, education, and community engagement.
I am excited to contribute my experiences and expertise toward expanding the great work happening at Perry Hall.
