As part of our SMSC (Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural Education) children in years 2-6 will be learning about the cultural heritage of Africa during October.
On Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th October children in year 2 - 6 took part in African Mask workshops.
On Monday the children learnt about African art masks and then had the opportunity to decorate their own wooden African mask.
On Tuesday the children used their decorated masks to dance a specially choreographed African mask dance.
Please look at our photos to see how much the children enjoyed these workshops.
