The threat to our environment is very real - our world simply will not last forever - and it is now very clear that we need to change our habits to help preserve our planet.
The Go Green Club at Perry Hall aim to reduce our environmental impact. They look at everyday activities at school and consider the changes we can make to help our environment.
We have an elected Eco-Committee, which includes one pupil from each class who represent their peers at regular meetings. They share ideas and help implement new initiatives.
In an effort to reduce the use of single use plastic products we have launched a PTA subsidised stainless steel water bottle initiative.
Visitors to Perry Hall will be shown around our composting area, edible garden, recycling bins, wild meadows and not forgetting our resident chickens and guinea pigs! We use the fresh eggs and home grown produce in our cooking lessons and our school pets enjoy feasting on fresh green leaves.
